Chiropractic Care + Rehab
Starts with the hands. Ends with the movement practice. We believe in getting the most out of your appointment. We take your preferences into account and use any and every treatment we feel is warranted during your visit. Stacking multiple treatment modalities during a single visit enhances their effectiveness and gets you results faster!
Chiropractic Adjustments
Chiropractic adjustments or joint manipulations use the doctors hands to provide a gentle thrust to unlock stiff or restricted joints to reduce pain and increase joint mobility.
Rehabilitative Exercise
Movement is medicine! Movement and exercise are utilized to decrease pain, promote proper movement patterns, and build strength and resiliency throughout the body. Some of these techniques include McKenzie Method (MDT), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) and general strength training.
Cupping
Suction produces a negative pressure which encourages blood flow and can be used to enhance the sliding of tissues. We often pair our Red Light therapy to compliment and enhance the effects of cupping.
Flexion & Distraction / Decompression
Flexion Distraction Therapy is a chiropractic technique and non-surgical treatment used to treat several conditions of the lumbar spine. Flexion Distraction Therapy is safe, non-forceful and works to successfully relieve pressure from spinal nerves that have been injured or are dysfunctional. Our doctors use a special table that distracts and flexes the spine in an automated and gentle rhythmic motion.
Soft Tissue Work
Techniques such as Pin & Stretch (you may be familiar with Active Release Technique or ART), percussion massage, trigger point therapy, and instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation (IASTM/scraping) all help to release muscle tension and soreness using the provider's hands or some other device.
Infrared / Red Light Therapy
Anybody with muscle tightness, inflammation, or pain can benefit from treatment with Infrared and Red wavelength light as it can reduce inflammation, calm pain, and improve microcirculation.
