Why don’t you accept my Insurance?

Insurance companies are continually cutting reimbursement rates for our treatment services, thereby dictating how in-network (offices that accept your insurance) chiropractors and clinicians treat their patients.

With this decline in reimbursement, many clinics are forced to treat patients for shorter treatment times, use only pre-approved treatment techniques, and lower patient care standards in order to make ends meat.

By being a cash-based practice, we are able to decide what treatment techniques and durations are best for our patients. This allows us to provide the highest quality of care during longer, 1-on-1 appointments. This increase in treatment time and quality results in our patients getting better, faster! However, if you know that you have chiropractic coverage by your health insurance we will gladly provide you with an itemized ‘Superbill’ that you can submit through mail, fax, or online for reimbursement.

Our New Patient Examination and Comprehensive Follow-Ups are a full 1 hour long. We also offer the Standard Follow-Up which is 30 minutes in length. These extended appointment times allow us to dive deep and provide multiple, complimentary treatment techniques to improve your experience and response to treatment. We want your pain gone fast and then we want to make your body more resilient to pain and injury in the future.

We believe in getting the most out of the time that you spend with us. This is why we take your preferences into account and use any & every treatment available we feel is warranted during your appointment. Stacking multiple treatment modalities during a single visit enhances their effectiveness and gets you out of pain faster!

At Sapien Chiropractic, you’ll never have to pay for separate treatment modalities like you would at an office that is in-network. Our appointments are all-inclusive with the treatment techniques that we provide and always 1-on-1 with the doctor. Our only goal is to get you back to doing the things that you love most!
